Deux siècles de bières en Bretagne
Saturday, 01 December 2007
Deux siècles de bières en BretagneDeux siècles de bières en Bretagne is a work co-written by Philippe Bonnet, Vincent Courtin and Yoran Delacour and edited at Yoran Embanner.

After a reminder) on the previous history of the beer and its history through the last centuries we can discover the rich and underestimated crossed by some beer and Breton breweries. The Breton breweries disappear completely in 1985 with the closure of the Meuse in Nantes in 1985. We discover then the revival of the craft breweries by the creation of Coreff (brasserie des deux rivières) and of the cervoiserie Lancelot. For every department of Bretagne we find a description of breweries of yesterday and today. This enumeration allows us to realize rich past but also of the explosion of the new wave of the traditional breweries. The work ends by information additional as French-Breton lexicon of the brassicoles terms, the various types of beers, its manufacturing, some receipts on base of beer and the other practical information.

This work is of a high quality both by its contents and by its photos or its layout. He has to take place in all the libraries of the passionate persons of the beer and Bretagne.
